SAPTEX COMPOSITE BOARDS
SAPTEX Thermal Insulation Composite Boards consist of rigid closed-cell Polystyrene, Polyurethane or Polyisocyanurate foam, processed in the factory onto gypsum, perlite or plywood sheets.
GYPSUM COMPOSITE BOARDS:
Foam-Gyps Composite Boards are manufactured in various thicknesses ranging from 30 mm to 150 mm (including thickness of gypsum board). Varieties of gypsum boards can be used. These include; regular, moisture-resistant, fire-resistant and fire-mois-ture-resistant boards. Gypsum boards can have straight or tapered edges. Standard sizes are 1200 mm x 2400 mm and 1200 mm x 3000 mm. Foam density ranges from
20 kg/m³ to 35 kg/m³ for Polystyrene and 30 kg/m³ to 50 kg/m³ for PUR/PIR. Top sur-face of PUR/PIR composite boards can be laminated with facers like, glass fiber tissue with polyethylene film, cellulose fiber glass, asphalt saturated felt paper, etc.
These boards are particularly useful for retrofit work as old buildings can be effectively insulated with these composite boards. Gypsum composite board for partitions can also be supplied. Gypsum board thicknesses are 9.5 mm, 12.5 mm, 15 mm and 18 mm.
PERLITE COMPOSITE BOARDS :
For roof insulation in accordance with Factory Mutual or Underwriters Laboratory specifications, especially for steel decks, SAPTEX produces Pertile Composite Boards where the foam is bonded directly onto 20 mm thick Pertile Board. Thicknesses of 50
- to 120 mm (including thickness of Pertile Board) can be manufactured. Sizes are 1200 mm x 1200 mm and 1200 x 2400 mm.
PLYWOOD COMPOSITE BOARDS :
SAPTEX also manufactures a range of Plywood Composite Boards having the same siz-es and thicknesses as of the Gypsum Composite Boards. For large projects, SAPTEX can produce Composite Boards as per client’s requirements. (Independent research has proved that bigger board sizes have better thermal resistance values)
